Arash Khaki is an Associate Professor at Department of Veterinary Pathology, Islamic Azad University, Tabriz Branch, Iran. He received his Ph.D. in 2005 in Vet Pathology and got his fellowship of Toxicology from University of Barcelona, Spain, in 2010. Dr. Khaki is experienced in male reproductive research in animal sciences and has published more than 120 articles in scientific journals and presented more than 50 articles in international meetings. He has also published several books in English and Persian in reproductive subjects. He is the research manager of Women’s Reproductive Health Research Center, Tabriz University of Medical Sciences, Tabriz, Iran between 2014-2017 years. At present, he is a research member in research center, and acts as the Editor-in-Chief for two different journals: 1-International Journal of Women’s Health and Reproduction Sciences, 2-Crescent Journal of Medical and Biological Sciences, indexed in ISI and Scopus databases. Dr. Khaki is an active member of American Society of Andrology (ASA) since 2001, International Society of Gynecological Endocrinology (ISGE), World Association of Medical Editors (WAME), European Association of Science Editors (EASE) and Asian Council of Science Editors. He got awarded by World Health Organization and American Society of Andrology in 2010, Houston Texas, USA, and also got Greenblatt Award in Prague, Czech Republic, in 15th World Congress on Menopause which was held on 28 September, 2016.

A study https://journals.plos.org/plosbiology/article?id=10.1371/journal.pbio.3000384 conducted by Stanford University recognized Professor Arash Khaki as one of the world's most-cited researchers. Looking at several indicators, this study analyzed data from 1996 through 2019, covering ~7 million scientists in 22 major fields.
In the sub-area Pathobiological Sciences and Reproduction Medicine,Khaki ranked among the top 2 % of the world's scientists more than 45000 researchers in the field. We discovered this study by accident, and seeing my name listed https://wrhrc-en.tbzmed.ac.ir/Uploads/User/3912/New%20folder/Table-S7-singleyr-2019-2020%20two%20percent%20world%20top.xlsx was quite a surprise to me. I am all the happier to be part of this ranking, said Rector Arash Khaki of the study.
Accordingly, we have provided updated analyses that use citations from Scopus with data freeze as of May 6, 2020, for citation impact during the single calendar year 2019 (Table-S7-singleyr-2019). Updated databases and code are freely available in Mendeley (https://dx.doi.org/10.17632/btchxktzyw).

Amir Afshin Khaki is an Associate Professor & former Head of Department of Anatomy and embryology at TABRIZ University of Medical Science since 1993. He is obtained Ph.D in Anatomical sciences from Delhi University, India in 2000 and Awarded by Gold medal for the best article award 2005 from international Academy of Medical sciences, year 2005.
